how is one supposed to pick a paint color from the behr paint website....well from my experience today...it is impossible and i do not recommend it. i went to work today and brent was off and i told him to repaint our bathroom b/c i could no longer stand the yellow --- we had some light brown left from when we painted the hallway so i told him to use that...he paints the wall brown...calls me and tells me it looks like dash's poop..so he goes to home depot and picks another color which he also decides looks like shit...so i randomly pick some color from the website and i get home and the freakin bathroom looks exactly like it did when he started painting.....except for 3 extra paint layers...and now noone has any motivation to repaint it so we are stuck with a yellow bathroom probably until we move....why can't someone come from HGTV and redo my ugly bedroom and bathroom for me..

We went to Orlando this weekend to meet up with some old friends who were on vacation ---- Dash went swimming for the first time...he loved it and looked pretty silly in his toddler size swimmer diaper. I forgot my camera so I will have to wait to post pics when Lindz emails them to me. Dash also has horrible baby acne and I hate it.....it looks horrible and i really dont want to take pictures and i am afriad people are thinking..what is wrong with that baby?? i know that sounds horrible but it really does look bad and i hope it goes before we go up north in a week.

So last weekend - we wanted to get out and do something, I have had more than enough time sitting around my house and looking at all the dog hair and dirt that I really have no desire to clean up....so we decided to go to the Ribfest to watch Styx and the Doobie Brothers.....not really my favorite but something to do nontheless...Dash totally slept through both concerts and was probably the youngest person there by a good 6 or 7 years...kind of made me feel like a horrible person but what the hell --- i can't really just sit at home with a kid for the rest of my life.

We also went tailgating for the Buc's game on Sunday....it was freezing outside so Dash had to wear this fleece bear outfit while i carried him on my chest and people kept on giving me these crazy looks and finally some man walked up and was like "oh, i am glad that is a real baby b/c we all thought that you were some weirdo carrying around a teddy bear." we didn't take him the game but he did have his first tailgate experience...which is good b/c tailgating is maybe the only talent i have..hopefully he will be blessed with many more talents but if he becomes a world class tailgater, i willl be pround as long as he invites me along!!

FIRST BLOG EVER ---

Okay...I don't know if I can make a commitment to regularly blog about my incredibly boring life but I am going to try and who knows maybe I will get really into it and i can turn my blogs into a novel and then I can retire and travel the world on my profits......wishful thinking or psychic vision...only time will tell!!

Right now -- Brenton and I are just trying to figure out what we are supposed to do with a baby!! That's him --- Mr. Dash Harrison Pope!! He is pretty cute and so far everything is going way better than expected, but I was expecting the worse so pretty much anything would be better.

I will try to update regularly and who knows I may very well get addicted!!
